How we help
The first minutes matter. We fill them.
For a life-threatening emergency, or even the possibility of one, call Hatzalah at 216-888-1818 and 911, even on Shabbos.
What happens when you call

A neighbor arrives
A local EMT, often minutes away, arrives with medical equipment and begins care.

We stabilize, comfort and keep watching the patient while fire/rescue is on the way.

Trained, equipped and accountable
Certified EMTs
Every member holds EMT certification, with extra medical training beyond what licensing requires.
Always training
Continuing education and drills are mandatory, so skills are current when they are needed.
Halacha and sensitivity
Members learn the halachos of medical care and can help patients make the right choice, including on Shabbos.
What we don’t do
We don’t transport patients and we don’t diagnose. We provide immediate care until fire/rescue arrives to treat and transport.
Every responder is a volunteer.
Your gift pays for the equipment, training and radios that put an EMT at your door in minutes.
